Addition on the house
We didn't want to come right out and ask him, since he has more than enough work on his hands these days. But our hints about how great the cat tree is that he built for HIS cat had their hoped for effect. A week later Dad delivered a 6 foot tall monstrosity of a cat tree to our house in Missoula. A Wilson does not do anything small. Thing is, it left an 8 foot expanse of wall above, leading up to our loft, completely bare! What to do? Paint a mural? Too messy.
With some construction leftovers and spare carpet found in our basement Tanner & I built the extension depicted in the image below. Ringo now scales it to get upstairs, leaving the "people" stairs to us.

Gawd....
I promise as soon as something interesting happens in my life, I will post away. I could always write about the boys, but I'm hoping they will do it themselves, that way I won't humiliate them once again... :) If any of you were "Foamers", I would talk about my job, but I'll spare the rest of you "normal" people. Also, I only have picture of dogs, so I will get a few of humans very soon and post them.

Tanners First Post
Ello Guvna,
Im actualy a Pace not a Wilson but... This being my first post i must get my dislikes out of the way. 1. I don't like guys who wear the sandles that have straps on them, 2. I don't like the word guestimate, 3. I don't especaily like the"preps" (the kids who are the often portrayed as the populare kids in movies, usualy the stupid jocks and homecoming queens[only ours are smart arg]), 4. I dont hate but id rather avoid people who play World of Warcraft for reasons unknown to even me, 5.Toe socks, 6. Almost any compound word not meant to be (like guesstimate), 7. People who insist that trees and therefore our buildings should have the same rights as people like the second amendment right to bear arms, that is scary to me, an oak with a smg, 8. Poems that dont rhyme, 9. Kids who recieve more money at christmas than a months minimum wage, 10. The number 504,342,101,3433,003 , 11. The name "Heaven Rain" and yes that is a name and all names of colors and months, 12. Tree sap, 13. The silver covers that go over fancey food, 14. The english weight measurement "Stones"
But i do like cooking and ive decided to post some of my favorite recipies, most of which i know by heart. Today, it's an increadibly rich pasta and polenta suace (A corn product that when cooked is roughly the consistancy and flavor of pasta)
What You will need:
1 small can of tomato paste
2 cans of tomatos ( fresh tastes a little bitter)
1/2 cup of slightly crushed pine nuts
3/4 cup of a nice but not particularly expensive red wine(make sure you will want to drink the rest)
1/2 a large onion choped
3 large cloves of garlic minced
1 handful of sharp cheese like parmasan (for the richness
1 Handful of sliced olives ( the thiner the better)
2 tbsp each of basil and parsly and any other favorite italian spice (fresh if posible)
enough oil to coat a sause pan.
How to:
Saute the pine nuts in the oil until they almost brown ( its hard to tell)
add the tomato paste and then after about thirty seconds the tomatos and onions
let this cook down for 5 minutes and add the red wine and cook for 5 more minutes
then add the herbs, the garlic, the cheese and the olives this can cook for 5 minutes alone or 10 with another 1/2 cup of water. The cheese will add an underlying flavor and give a nice consistancy to the entire dish.
Also if you are going to use polenta, add the water and one of the packages of plenta (its enough for maybe 3 people) Then put on the lid and let sit until the polenta is a darker color and is much looser.

Thank you for taking the time to set this up for us. It is Easter Sunday and we are getting ready to eat an unusual dinner--no ham or turkey. Mark and family will perhaps be over for dessert later.
We are into the creative side--making new displays for the Builder's Showcase which takes place the weekend of the 11-13 of April. Hope the world is ready for us to perhaps being ready before the the morning of. It will be great to have new displays to look at.
